​Days: 2 days a week initially, with the potential to extend to 3 days per week depending on availability and funding outcomes

Salary: £30,000 FTE, (£12,000–£12,800 per annum actual salary for 0.4 FTE).

Holiday: 11 days’ paid holiday per year, including a pro-rata entitlement to UK bank holidays. KIT Theatre has policies for sickness and health, maternity, parental and caring leave.

Pension: If PAYE you will be enrolled onto a Nest pension scheme at an initial 3% employer contribution.

Start date: December 2026 (earlier if possible)
End date: August 2028

KIT Theatre is recruiting a Project Manager with experience working with young people to lead the delivery of our Bridge Adventures Programme across Thurrock. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who live in Thurrock or neighbouring boroughs. 

 

Bridge Adventures are multi-episode, immersive Adventures in Learning that connect young people to their local, cultural venues. The projects are designed to begin in school, supporting pupils’ creative development and curriculum. The missions driving each adventure then take pupils out into their local creative community, where they share their creative work at a finale event in a local venue. In Sequel projects the characters invite the whole family to get involved during the school holidays.
