Communities

Since 2022 KIT's vision has evolved to focus on forging creative communities made up of young people, their families, their schools and local cultural venues.

Our Bridge Adventures begin in schools but include visits to local cultural venues where young people develop creative skills and stage performances. We follow up these in-school projects with Sequel Projects staged in holidays, where familiar characters get back in touch with Young People and invite them, and their families, to return to venues. The ambition underscoring the programme is to use our fictional worlds to build, empower and sustain creative communities in the real world.

Alongside our Bridge Adventures & Sequel Projects, we collaborate with Museums, Libraries, Theatres and Cultural Venues across England to create bespoke adventures.

These award-winning projects bring new audiences into venues, allowing children and families to innovatively interact with collections or exhibitions as audiences explore spaces through our immersive narrative.

We've been commissioned by museums including Natural History Museum and Imperial War Museum, theatres including Birmingham Hippodrome and KILN and libraries across London, Manchester and Birmingham.
