Tom Bowtell

Artistic Director

Tom is a writer, director and performer who has been making adventurous work for. by and with young people for 10 years. He founded KIT in 2015 with a mission to use Adventures in Learning to improve children's educational engagement and achievement and unlock their creative talent. Tom has written or co-written 15 Adventures in Learning, including Inspiration Days, Arabian Nights and The Astronautical Challenge, which won the 2011 National Charity Award for Arts, Culture and Heritage. Tom co-created and starred in BAC's Offie-Nominated The Good Neighbour in 2013/14 and was a game designer on the BAFTA-winning educational game Nightmare High. Anna Myers


Anna joined KIT in 2016 and has been enjoying the world of lost aliens, chocolate inventors, time-travelling professors and others ever since! Anna is a freelance Creative Producer and specialises in producing work for young people and communities. She worked at the KILN Theatre for 7 years setting up and managing a wide range of community projects as part of the Creative Learning programme. She recently produced the play  WOW EVERYTHING IS AMAZING with Sounds Like Chaos and teenagers from Deptford and also works on Battersea Arts Centre's The Agency project.


Toby Peach
Performer, writer and director


Toby is a Theatre Maker, Facilitator and Performer. He is currently the BBC Fellow in Community Theatre and has just finished his placement with The Old Vic, where he was Assistant Director on their Community Theatre Company production ‘Ages’.He has created and delivered a range of theatre projects with a wide variety of organisations both nationally and internationally since graduating from East 15 with a BA in Community Theatre. He has worked extensively with National Youth Theatre, theatre-makers Coney and BAC. Toby debuted his solo show ‘The Eulogy of Toby Peach’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival after winning the IdeasTap Underbelly Award, which showcases the journey of a young man facing cancer. ‘The Eulogy’ received a wonderful response and will be touring in 2016. KIT also employs a large pool of brilliant freelance actor/facilitators. Without their enthusiasm, playfulness and skills, we would not be able to deliver the work.
